What we collect

Vacation Travel Kits does not require an account. Your packing checklist selections (trip length, travelers, and which items you've marked packed or needed) are stored in your browser's local storage and are not sent to us unless you explicitly submit a contact or suggestion form.

If you use the contact form or the "suggest a park" form, we store the name, email, and message you provide so we can respond.

We log outbound "Find this item" clicks (which item was clicked, on which park's page, and a one-way-hashed identifier) so we can see which items are useful to visitors. This log does not include your name or a reversible identifier.

Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) to remember your checklist progress and trip answers between visits. You can clear this at any time using the "Reset checklist" button on a packing list page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Third parties

Outbound "Find this item" links go to Amazon or other retailers, who have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we link to, including the official theme park pages linked from our "Rules & bag policy" sections.
